Brahmavar: Confraternity Sunday observed at Holy Family Church ahead of parish feast

Brahmavar, Dec 28: The Confraternity Sunday celebration was held at Holy Family Church, Brahmavar, as a prelude to the annual parish feast. Fr Mark Saldhana was the main celebrant of the Eucharistic celebration. The Mass was concelebrated by Fr John Fernandes, parish priest; Fr Joackim D’Souza, assistant parish priest; Fr Mathias Dias; Fr Peter Mendonca; and Fr Charles Saldhana.

Following the Holy Mass, a solemn procession of the Blessed Sacrament was held, commencing from the church premises, passing through the main road of Brahmavar town, and concluding at the church.

During the programme, donors and patrons were honoured with candles in recognition of their support. Fr John Fernandes OFM Cap, parish priest, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the donors, sponsors, and the faithful for their generous contributions and dedicated service to the parish. A prize distribution programme was also held on the occasion.

The annual parish feast will be celebrated on Sunday and Monday, December 28 and 29.
