Chandni Chowk shop fire, five tenders deployed

New Delhi, Dec 27: A fire broke out at a shop in north Delhi’s Chandni Chowk late on Friday night, prompting the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) to rush five fire tenders to the spot.

According to a DFS official, the department received information about the blaze at around 10.58 pm, following which firefighting teams were immediately pressed into service.

Firefighting operations were underway at the time of filing this report.

Further details regarding the cause of the fire and any casualties were awaited.
