Mumbai, Dec 26: Actor Katrina Kaif’s Christmas celebrations this year were extra special as she marked the festival for the first time as a mother, along with husband Vicky Kaushal and family. The actor offered fans a rare glimpse into the intimate celebrations by sharing a warm family photograph on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Katrina posted a cozy selfie from her Mumbai residence featuring herself with Vicky Kaushal, his brother Sunny Kaushal, and her brother Sebastian Laurent Michel. The family is seen gathered in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, all wearing red-and-white Santa hats. Katrina, dressed in a bright red outfit, smiles at the camera with her hand resting on Vicky’s shoulder, while the men strike playful poses, with Vicky adding a quirky touch by sporting sunglasses.
Sharing the picture, Katrina wrote, “Love joy and peace to all… It’s a Merry Merry Christmas!” The post marks her first Instagram appearance since embracing motherhood.

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif welcomed their baby boy in November and announced the news with a heartfelt post that read, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy.” The announcement was met with warm wishes from several film industry colleagues, including Priyanka Chopra, Ayushmann Khurrana and Karan Johar.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan on December 9, 2021, keeping their relationship largely private until their wedding.
In a recent interview, Vicky spoke about fatherhood, calling it a deeply grounding experience. “Every day, a new emotion hits. You surrender to this in a way you’ve never surrendered to anything,” he said.
On the professional front, Vicky recently starred in the blockbuster historical drama Chhaava, which grossed over ?807 crore worldwide. He will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Katrina was last seen in Merry Christmas.
