Udupi: Woman ends life by jumping into well

Udupi, Dec 19: A woman allegedly died by suicide after jumping into a well located behind the MGM College grounds at Sagri.

The deceased has been identified as Seetha Nayak (67), a resident of a private residential complex. Her body was found in a well situated in a nearby vacant plot.

PSI Bharatesh of the Udupi city police station conducted the investigation process. Fire and emergency services officer Ravindra, along with staff member Raghavendra Acharya and their team, retrieved the body from the well.

Social worker Nithyananda Volkadu extended assistance in shifting the body to the post-mortem examination centre at Ajjarkad district hospital.
