Mangaluru, Dec 14: Dharma Jyothi Social Centre organised a Christmas get-together for the beneficiary children at the Vidya Jyothi School auditorium on December 14. The programme was inaugurated by the parish priest of Adyapadi Church, Fr Francis Rodrigues, who also delivered the Christmas message.

Dr Ananth Prabhu addressed the gathering and provided valuable awareness on cyber-crimes. The president of the programme, Sr Leena V J, SRA, presided over the programme and addressed the gathering.

During the programme, the 10th and 2nd year PUC students who scored distinction marks in the academic year 2024–2025 were honoured. Sr Reena Monteiro, SRA distributed the prizes to the achievers.

The director of Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, Sr Veera Monis, SRA extended a warm welcome to the gathering. The programme was compered by Sunitha, and Neetha proposed the vote of thanks.

A total of 1,336 children and parents participated in the programme. After the programme, a sumptuous meal was served to all.
