Chennai, Dec 13: The makers of director Manikandan Anandan’s next film, starring Ashok Selvan and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles, announced on Saturday that the film has completed its shooting schedule. The project had gone on floors in August this year following a traditional pooja ceremony.

The yet-untitled film is being jointly produced by Million Dollar Studios and Vels Film International, two prominent banners in Tamil cinema. Million Dollar Studios recently tasted massive success with Tourist Family, while Vels Film International is currently backing big projects such as Dhanush’s D54 and Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2.

According to sources close to the production, the film is shaping up to be a romantic thriller and is among the most expensive projects of Ashok Selvan’s career so far. A significant portion of the narrative reportedly unfolds during nighttime, adding a distinctive visual and tonal layer to the story. The makers had earlier planned to complete the shoot in a single stretch across Chennai and nearby locations, a target that has now been successfully achieved.

The film features a strong technical lineup, with music composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and cinematography handled by Pushparaj Santhosh. Editing duties are overseen by Bharath Vikraman, while Mahendran serves as the art director. Lyricist Mohan Rajan has written all the songs for the film.

The technical crew also includes National Award-winning makeup artist Pattanam Rasheed, sound designer Udayakumar of Sound Vibe Studios, and choreographer Azhar.

With principal photography now wrapped up, the team has moved into post-production, which sources say is progressing at a brisk pace. Until an official title is announced, the film is being referred to as #ProductionNumber6, marking it as the sixth venture produced by Million Dollar Studios.
