Mangaluru, Dec 2: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy will organize a poets’ meet titled ‘Kavyaam Vhalo–9’ on December 6 at 4 pm at the Academy Hall.
The programme will be presided over by academy president Joachim Stany Alvares. Fr Steven Alvin Pereira, director of Infant Jesus Shrine, will participate as the chief guest.
Renowned poet Andrew L D’Cunha will chair the poets’ session.
Well-known poets Vincent Pinto Angelore, Krutika Kamath, Raymond D’Cunha, Elson D’Costa Hirgan, Sonia D’Costa, Laveena Danti and others will present their poems.
Angel Couthinho, Rishon Nazareth, Anya Danti and Stany Alvares will recite poems of the late Prof D J D’Costa.
Members of the Konkani community are invited to attend the programme.
