Mumbai, Dec 1: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a quiet, private ceremony on Monday morning, marking a new chapter in her life. Only close family members and select friends were present as the couple exchanged vows. Shortly afterward, Samantha shared the first images from the wedding on Instagram, instantly delighting fans with glimpses of her traditional bridal look and the couple’s heartfelt celebration.
Social media had been buzzing with speculation late Sunday night after rumours of their wedding began circulating. The actor finally confirmed the news by posting her wedding photographs, offering fans a first look at the ceremony and the couple’s joyous moments.
Samantha looked stunning in a rich red bridal saree embellished with intricate zari designs, paired with elegant gold jewellery that added to her classic wedding look. Raj wore a white kurta paired with a beige Nehru jacket, perfectly complementing Samantha’s attire. In one of the photos, she proudly flaunted her large wedding ring, which the couple exchanged before the ceremony.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the wedding took place early in the morning at the Ling Bhairavi Temple located inside the Isha Yoga Centre. The ceremony was intentionally kept low-key, with only about 30 guests attending.
As soon as the news broke, warm wishes poured in from the film fraternity. Hansika Motwani sent her congratulations, Dia Mirza added red hearts to her message, and Upasana Kamineni Konidela expressed her excitement, calling it the “best news ever.”

Samantha and Raj's relationship first became the talk of the industry in early 2024. Over time, Samantha’s social media posts featuring Raj sparked further curiosity. Their professional collaborations also deepened their connection — beginning with Samantha’s breakout digital role in The Family Man 2, directed by Raj & DK, followed by Citadel: Honey Bunny (2024), and the upcoming Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya before they parted ways. Raj Nidimoru’s earlier marriage to Shhyamali De ended in 2022. With their union now official, fans and colleagues alike have expressed immense joy as the two begin their new journey together.
