New Delhi, Nov 28: A 16-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death after a heated quarrel in northwest Delhi’s Karala area on Thursday, police said on Friday. Three juveniles have been detained in connection with the murder, and further investigation is underway.
Police said they received information from a Rohini hospital where the teenager was brought with stab injuries and was declared dead on arrival. A police team then reached the hospital and later inspected the crime scene.

During the inquiry, the teen’s cousin — also a juvenile — told police that he witnessed the incident. He said he rushed to the spot along with his friend Armaan (18) after receiving a call about a quarrel involving the victim and others.
According to officials, the teen and his friends had engaged in an argument with three boys, all around 15 years old. During the scuffle, one of the juveniles allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen and thigh before the trio fled.
“We checked CCTV footage and gathered local intelligence. Two of the juveniles were detained,” a police officer said. The deceased was a Class 11 student at a private school in Karala. His father works with NDPL, while his mother is a homemaker.
Police said the detained juveniles are being questioned to determine the exact motive behind the killing.
