BJP takes dig at Rahul Gandhi as NDA surges ahead in Bihar

Daijiworld Media Network - New Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 14: As early trends from the Bihar Assembly election pointed to a massive victory for the NDA, the BJP on Friday intensified its attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya took a sharp swipe on X, saying, “Rahul Gandhi! Another election, another defeat! If there were awards for electoral consistency, he’d sweep them all.”

Continuing the jibe, he added, “At this rate, even setbacks must be wondering how he finds them so reliably.” The BJP’s remarks came as initial numbers showed the opposition struggling to make an impact.

According to Election Commission trends at 12:30 pm, the NDA looked set to surpass its 2010 tally of 206 seats, with the BJP leading in 85 constituencies and JD(U) ahead in 78.

In contrast, the RJD–Congress-led Mahagathbandhan lagged far behind, with the RJD leading in just 32 seats, indicating an uphill battle for the alliance as the NDA moved firmly towards what appears to be a commanding win in Bihar.
