Explosion at Harvard Medical school believed to be intentional; two suspects flee scene

Boston, Nov 2: An explosion rocked Harvard Medical School early Saturday morning, in what authorities believe was an intentional act. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, officials confirmed.

According to a statement from Harvard University Police, the blast occurred inside the Goldenson Building. A campus police officer, responding to a fire alarm, reportedly encountered two unidentified individuals fleeing the scene before reaching the source of the alert.

The Boston Fire Department later determined that the explosion was deliberate. A thorough sweep of the premises was conducted, but no additional explosive devices were discovered.

Authorities have released security camera images showing two suspects wearing face coverings and sweatshirts. Police have urged anyone with information about the individuals or the incident to come forward.

Investigations are underway as campus security has been tightened around the medical school and surrounding areas.
