New Delhi, Oct 28: A major scare was reported at Delhi Airport’s Terminal 3 on Tuesday after a bus operated by AI SATS, a ground-handling service provider for Air India, suddenly caught fire near bay number 32.
The incident occurred just a few metres away from a parked aircraft, but officials confirmed that no passengers were onboard at the time. Firefighters and airport emergency teams swiftly responded to the situation, bringing the blaze under control before it could spread further.

No injuries or damage to nearby aircraft were reported, airport sources said.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, while a formal statement from Air India is awaited.
