Kundapur: Police raid gambling den – Four arrested in Kavradi village

Kundapur, Oct 28: In a swift operation, the Kundapur Rural police, led by sub-inspector Nasir Hussain, conducted a surprise raid on a gambling den located by the roadside in Marasi, Kavradi village, and arrested four individuals involved in illegal gambling activities.

The accused have been identified as Anil Balikere (31), Poornesh Balikere (25), Raghu Hangarakatte Kenchanur (39), and Yogeesh Balikere (39).

According to police sources, the group was allegedly playing Andar Bahar, a popular card-based gambling game, when the raid was carried out. During the operation, the police seized cash, mobile phones, and other materials used for gambling.

A case has been registered at the Kundapur Rural police station, and further investigation is underway.
