Mangaluru: Kishore D Shetty elected president of Tulu Drama Artistes’ Association

Mangaluru, Oct 24: Kishore D Shetty has been elected as the new president of the Tulu Drama Artistes’ Association (R), Mangaluru. The annual general meeting of the association for the year 2024–2025 was held at Lions Ashoka Seva Bhavan near Kadri Park, where the new office bearers were unanimously elected.

The meeting was presided over by Kishore D Shetty, who was unanimously chosen as president for a two-year term. Gokul Kadri and Taranath Shetty Bolara were elected as vice-presidents, while Lakshman Kumar Mallur was chosen as general secretary. Mohan Koppala Kadri will serve as treasurer, with Pradeep Alva Kadri as chief executive of the welfare fund and Raghavendra Rao Sharavu as director of the welfare fund. Tulasi Das Urwa has been elected as joint secretary.

The advisory committee includes Tamma Lakshman, Shobha Shetty, and Sharath Shetty Mundkur. Madhu Bangera will serve as organizing secretary, and Ratnadev Punjalkatte as publicity director.

The newly elected administrative committee members are Kishore Kumar Jogi Ubar, Kishore D K, Sudhakar Shetty Bedra, Sanjeeva Adyar, Nagesh Devadiga Kadri, Mohan K Bolara, Ashwini Rai, Kishan Mangaladevi, Harish K Shaktinagar, Manoj Kumar, Narendra S Anchan, Suresh Balmath, Udayaravi Shetty, Rajashekar Shetty, Nithin Kumar Kanirthota, Vinayak Jeppu, Dinesh Kumpala, Narendra Kerekadu, Taranath Urwa, and Ranjan Boluru.

The programme was compered by Mohan Koppala Kadri. Pradeep Alva Kadri delivered the vote of thanks, while general secretary Lakshman Kumar Mallur welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report and financial statement.
