Mangaluru, Oct 23: In a significant development aimed at strengthening healthcare access in the semi urban & rural region, the Department of Emergency Medicine at KMC Hospital, Mangalore, will be extending its emergency services and trauma care at Sri Sai Hospital, Kundapura. The Emergency Centre will be inaugurated on October 26.
Sri Sai Hospital, Kundapura will now benefit from the expertise of specialists in Emergency Service from KMC Hospital, Mangalore. This move is expected to greatly enhance medical care, ensuring that emergencies are managed promptly during the golden hour, which is a critical time for patient survival.
"We have emergency centers at Puttur, Kakkinje, Beltangady & Kerala, we have stabilised numerous cardiac, stroke, trauma, poly trauma, snake bite, poison, child emergencies and many medical emergencies hence increasing their golden hour to get advanced care at our Hospital. By providing immediate emergency services and timely intervention, we can significantly enhance better patient outcomes.
