Mangaluru, Oct 16: The Lions Club Ladyhill proudly announces the 15th edition of its flagship STEM Talent Contest (STC), to be held on October 26 at the St Aloysius PU campus.
Since 2011, the Lions Club has made it its mission to spark a love for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) among students and to guide parents and students through the landscape of competitive exams and educational opportunities in India and abroad. Through regular events, mentorship, and outreach, the club has educated thousands of students and their families about national-level and international pathways available after 12th grade, not only in STEM but across diverse fields.

“Our mission has always been to open doors and show students what’s possible,” shares charter member Lancelot D’Costa. “Fifteen years of the STC contest have helped change the conversation about science education and ambition in Mangaluru.”
Secretary Lydia D’Costa adds, “Through this initiative, we aim to empower not just students but also parents, making them aware of the wide spectrum of opportunities in STEM and beyond.”
The upcoming Science Talent Contest is open to all schools in the region, and encourages creative problem-solving, teamwork, and scientific inquiry. The Club invites every school to participate and be part of a journey that nurtures future leaders.
