Alwyn Quadros elected as new president of Prerana KCCCI Udupi

Udupi, Oct 16: Entrepreneur and social worker Alwyn Quadros from Kote has been elected as the new president of Prerana – Karavali Christian Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCCI) for the term 2025–27.

A dynamic leader and well-known organizer, Alwyn Quadros has earlier served in various capacities, including president and member of organizations such as the Catholic Sabha and the Rotary Club. He is also serving as a director of the Brahmavar Catholic Credit Co-operative Society.

The election of the new office bearers was held at the Valley View Country Club, Manipal.

Dr Jerry Vincent Dias has been elected as the honorary president, while Alwyn Quadrous from Kota has been chosen as the president. Jitendra Furtado from Palimar has been elected as the vice president, and Wilson D’Souza from Shirva will serve as the general secretary. Jeevan Salins from Kundapur has been appointed as the joint secretary, and Maxim Stephen Saldanha from Udupi will serve as the treasurer. The immediate past president was Santosh D’Silva from Karkala.

The board of directors includes Louis Lobo from Kalmady, Gregory Menezes from Belman, Walter Saldanha from Udupi, Derrick D’Souza from Sastan, Dolphy Mascarenhas from Udupi, Gerald Fernandes from Moodubelle, Johnson Almeida from Kundapur, Prakash Pinto from Karkala, Prashanth Jathan from Katapady, Francis D’Souza from Palimar, Terrence Suvares from Udupi, and Allan Vaz from Brahmavar.

The event marked a new beginning for the chamber, with members expressing optimism about the association’s future growth and community service under the leadership of Alwyn Quadros.
