Bantwal: Bedridden accident victim gets new house built by Kalashraya Dasakodi

Bantwal, Oct 14: Ravindra Naik of Vittal, who lost control of his legs and became bedridden after suffering a spinal injury from a fall while climbing a coconut tree, has been gifted a new house constructed by Kalashraya Dasakodi, under the initiative of former state religious council member, Suryanarayan Bhatt of Dasakodi.

The newly built house was handed over in the presence of Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharathi Swamiji of Sringeri Sharada Peetha and Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt, president of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur.

Suryanarayan Bhatt, who dedicates about 50 percent of his earnings to service activities for the poor, has been engaged in several philanthropic initiatives — providing education for underprivileged students, old-age pensions for the elderly, land to the landless, and housing for those without shelter.
