Maharajganj, Oct 12: Aishwaryam Prajapati from Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, who secured All India Rank 10 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023, continues to inspire thousands of aspirants across the country with her dedication and perseverance.

Prajapati, who cleared the exam in her second attempt, has been motivating students through various means, sharing her preparation strategies and insights into maintaining consistency.

Speaking about her journey, she had earlier said that her dream of becoming an IAS officer began in school. “My goal was clear since the 10th grade,” she said.

Outlining her study strategy, she said that the quality of study mattered more than the number of hours spent. “Study is important, not counting hours,” she said, adding that having a clear plan and limited resources was key. Apart from her notes, newspapers, practice answer writing, and standard reference books played a major role in her preparation.

An alumnus of Rani Lakshmibai Senior Secondary School, Aishwaryam completed her B Tech from NIT Uttarakhand. She later joined L&T, where she worked for 18 months before deciding to focus full-time on UPSC preparation.

Though confident about clearing the exam, Aishwaryam admitted she did not expect to rank among the top ten. “I never imagined I would secure the 10th rank. It’s a pleasant surprise, and I’m very happy,” she said with a smile.

Her achievement remains a benchmark for many civil service aspirants, particularly those from small towns, proving that determination and focused preparation can overcome all odds.
