Mangaluru, Oct 8: The JMFC (IV) court here, presided over by judge Shilpa S Badagi, has imposed a fine of Rs 29,000 on Maruti Kambal for allowing a minor to ride a two-wheeler.

The court found Kambal guilty of violating motor vehicle regulations by permitting an underage boy to operate the vehicle, thereby endangering public safety.

The case serves as a reminder to vehicle owners and parents about the legal consequences of allowing minors to drive or ride motor vehicles without a valid licence.
