Pune, Oct 5: The story of Dongre Archit Parag from Maharashtra stands as an inspiring example of perseverance and focus. The VIT, Vellore alumnus has secured All India Rank 3 in the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024, the results of which were declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on April 22.

Archit, a B Tech graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, made the bold decision to leave his IT job after a year to dedicate himself to UPSC preparation. Choosing Philosophy as his optional subject, he embraced the challenge of mastering a discipline that demands logical clarity and critical thinking.

Hailing from Pune, Archit completed his schooling in Mumbai and pursued junior college in Pune before graduating from VIT. His academic journey and disciplined approach have made him one of Maharashtra’s top achievers this year.

This success did not come overnight. After scoring 153 marks in the UPSC CSE 2023, Archit used the experience to refine his strategy and return stronger. His resilience paid off as he broke into the top three ranks in the 2024 examination.

Friends and mentors describe him as a determined learner who balances intellect with humility. His success has become a source of pride for aspirants across Maharashtra, motivating many to believe that persistence and passion can overcome all odds.
