Udupi, Sep 29: Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, is set to host the orientation programme for the fresh batch of students admitted to the engineering stream for the academic year 2025-26. The programme will be held on Sunday, October 5, at 10 am at the institution’s Open Air Auditorium.

Prabhav N Rao, managing director, Leapfrog Engineering Services Limited, Bengaluru, will grace the occasion as the chief guest and address the newly admitted students and their parents.

The event will also be honoured by the presence of P Srinivas Tantry, vice president of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, and Rathnakumar, secretary of the Trust, as the guests of honour. Professor Dr Radhakrishna S Aithal, CEO, Sode Group of Institutions and Dr Thirumaleshwara Bhat, principal will be present in the dias.

During the programme, the students and parents will be formally apprised of the institute’s guidelines, practices, and initiatives aimed at ensuring the holistic development of every student at SMVITM.
