Paris, Sep 30: Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a dazzling appearance at Paris Fashion Week, turning heads as she walked the ramp for L’Oréal Paris in a striking androgynous sherwani designed by Manish Malhotra.

Showcasing the Women’s Ready-to-Wear Spring–Summer 2026 collection at the historic Hôtel de Ville on September 29, Aishwarya embodied the show’s theme “Liberté, Egalité, Sororité” (Liberty, Equality, Sisterhood).

The former Miss World looked radiant in a blue sherwani with 10-inch diamond-embroidered cuffs, a detail Malhotra described as “part armour, part adornment” symbolising both strength and vulnerability. She paired the look with her signature ruby lips and flowing hair, greeting the Paris audience with a graceful namaste before waving and blowing kisses.

Social media erupted with admiration soon after videos of her walk went viral, with comments like “Always the best” and “So beautiful” flooding the internet.

A day before the show, Aishwarya touched hearts when she comforted an emotional fan outside her Paris hotel, wiping the fan’s tears and posing for photos.

The Ponniyin Selvan II star once again proved her global appeal, effortlessly blending Indian heritage with high-fashion couture on one of the world’s most prestigious runways.
