Karkala, Sep 29: The National Service Scheme (NSS) activities were inaugurated and the programme was designed at MPM Government First Grade College, Karkala on September 27.

Shankar Kuduva, who arrived as the resource person for this programme, inaugurated it by lighting the lamp and told the students about the origin and growth of the National Service Scheme organization and informed them that it helps in the personality development of the students.

In this programme, the principal, Dr Suresh Rai. K, delivered the presidential address. Chandrakant Shenoy delivered the introductory remarks. Vinay M S, IQAC coordinator and Renuka H G, National Service Scheme officer, were present in this programme.

Kumari Yajneshwari narrated, Lavanya Shetty welcomed, Srijana offered the vote of thanks, and Hitesh offered a prayer. All the secretaries and volunteers of the National Service Scheme participated in this programme.
