Patna, Sep 24: Speaking after the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting held at Patna’s historic Sadaqat Ashram, senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot launched a scathing attack on the ruling NDA government in Bihar, accusing it of total administrative failure and alleging deep-rooted corruption across party lines.
Pilot claimed there is growing discontent among the people of Bihar, who, he said, are “eager for change.” Highlighting issues raised during the CWC discussions, he pointed to the flood crisis, a collapsed law and order system, and rampant unemployment as key areas where the state government has failed. “Examination paper leaks and lathi charges on job-seeking youth reflect the true face of this administration,” he said.

The former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister also alleged mutual mudslinging within the NDA, saying, “BJP leaders are exposing JD(U) leaders, and JD(U) leaders are exposing BJP leaders. The public is watching — and fed up.”
Pilot reaffirmed the Congress party’s commitment to the INDIA Bloc alliance and said it will contest the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections with “full strength and public backing.” He credited the growing momentum to the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' led by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, which he said is resonating strongly with the youth and working class across Bihar.
Reinforcing the Congress Party’s presence in the state, Pilot declared, “Our ideology, our thinking, and our workers are present in every village, every lane, and every city. We are not fighting for power alone — we are fighting to remove a failed, double-engine government that has brought Bihar to the edge.”
He also criticized the state’s handling of key issues like poverty, unemployment, and large-scale migration, calling them “at their worst levels” in recent years.
The high-stakes CWC meeting was chaired by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and attended by top leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Bhupesh Baghel, and the Chief Ministers of Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana, signaling the party’s focused strategy in one of India’s most politically significant states.
