Jolly LLB 3 steadies on first Tuesday, total collection reaches Rs 65.5 cr

Mumbai, Sep 24: Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s Jolly LLB 3 showed a steady performance on its first Tuesday, earning Rs 6.5 cr, bouncing back slightly after Monday’s dip. The film’s total earnings now stand at Rs 65.5 cr, according to Sacnilk.

On Monday, the film minted Rs 5.5 cr, marking a 56% drop compared to Friday, particularly during evening shows, trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted. Tuesday’s collections were aided by discounted ticket offers that helped boost footfalls.

Jolly LLB 3’s first-week tally so far: Friday – Rs 12.5 cr, Saturday – Rs 20 cr, Sunday – Rs 21 cr, Monday – Rs 5.5 cr, bringing the total to Rs 59 cr net in India.

The film marks the first collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, reuniting fans of the Jolly LLB franchise. The original Jolly LLB (2013), directed by Subhash Kapoor, starred Warsi and was a sleeper hit with earnings of Rs 48.7 cr. Its sequel, Jolly LLB 2 (2017), featured Akshay Kumar in the lead and retained key characters from the original.
