In Itanagar, the Prime Minister will launch two key hydropower projects—the 240 MW Heo Hydro Electric Project and the 186 MW Tato-I Hydro Electric Project—together worth over Rs 3,700 crore. He will also lay the foundation for a state-of-the-art Convention Centre in Tawang, designed to host over 1,500 delegates for national and international conferences and cultural festivals.
Modi is set to roll out infrastructure projects worth Rs 1,290 crore to boost connectivity, healthcare, fire safety, and women’s hostels, while engaging with local taxpayers and traders on the impact of recent GST rate rationalisation.
Later in Tripura, the Prime Minister will perform puja at the ancient Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur and inaugurate its redeveloped complex under the PRASAD scheme. The tortoise-shaped complex features new pathways, a three-storey facility with stalls, a meditation hall, guest rooms, and improved drainage—aimed at enhancing pilgrimage tourism and generating employment in the region.
