New Delhi, Sep 17: In a major breakthrough against narcotics networks, the Delhi Police have arrested five persons and recovered heroin valued at nearly Rs 6 crore in the outer north Delhi region.
According to officials, a sustained crackdown led to the seizure of 3.1 kilograms of heroin, which carries an estimated street value of around Rs 6 crore. The contraband was being circulated through local networks before being traced by the police team.

The accused, allegedly engaged in peddling the banned substance, were taken into custody and are being interrogated to establish wider links in the drug trade.
Police sources indicated that the arrests form part of a larger operation aimed at dismantling drug syndicates active in the national capital. Further investigation is underway.
