Mangaluru: Srinivas University organises tug of war tournament 2025

Mangaluru, Sep 11: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, successfully organized the Tug of War Tournament 2025 on September 10. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 19 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams from BBA Aviation Management, BBA Aviation & Logistics Management, and BBA Aviation Travel & Tourism Management.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Anjana T V, head of the department and Bhagyashree physical directors, Institute of Aviation Studies along with Ranjith and Preetham, physical director, Srinivas University.

The tournament created a spirited and vibrant atmosphere, highlighting teamwork and competitive spirit among the students. In the men’s category, Nishan & Team III BBA Aviation Management emerged as the winners, while Suhaib & Team II BBA Aviation & Logistics Management secured the runners-up position. In the women’s category, Shraddha & Team clinched the championship, with Vaishnavi & Team finishing as runners-up.

The Tug of War Tournament 2025 turned out to be a grand success, leaving behind memorable moments of thrill, competition, and sportsmanship. The event truly reflected the commitment of Srinivas University to promoting both academic excellence and holistic student development through sports and co-curricular activities.
