Mangaluru, Sep 10: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, proudly announces that its men’s and women’s shuttle badminton teams emerged as winners in the VTU Mangaluru division shuttle badminton tournament, organized by SJEC and held at the Global Badminton Arena, Vamanjoor, on September 8.

The teams showcased remarkable skill and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, Physical Education Director (PED), and Sudheer, assistant PED.

The winning squads featured talented players from both UG and PG programmes:

Men’s team: M Preethan Shaan Lobo (5th sem CSE), Vernon Lee (5th sem CSE), Sohan H R (2nd sem MBA), Arush Patrao (4th sem MBA), Chirag M N (3rd sem ECE).

Women’s team: Trivia Creda Veigas (5th sem CSE), Trisha Clarice Veigas (7th sem CSDS), Crystal Dafney Montero (3rd sem CSDS).

The management of SJEC congratulates both teams and the physical education directors for bringing laurels to the institution with this outstanding achievement.
