Udupi: Glowinstar Integrated School holds parent-teacher meeting

Udupi, Sep 10: A parent-teacher meeting was organised by Glowinstar Integrated School on Aug 23. The programme began with the presence of teachers and parents. All the parents from 1st to 10th standard attended the meeting, ensuring full participation. Headmistress Shantha Fernandes welcomed the gathering, and principal Dr T J Quadros briefly highlighted the importance of parents attending such meetings.

Jeevan Lewis, a student counsellor from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, conducted a special session for the parents. His talk focused on parenting in the present century, early childhood development stages, sources of stress, and common psychological issues. Each topic was explained in a lucid and relatable manner, making it easy for parents to connect with his message.

After the presentation, the session was opened for questions, allowing parents to clarify their doubts and share their concerns. The interaction made the discussion even more meaningful.

Overall, the session was informative, interesting, and impactful. Parents appreciated the insights shared, and the meeting proved to be a valuable platform for strengthening the bond between the school and families.
