Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative Society receives SCDCC Bank achievement award

Udupi, Sep 2: The Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative Society was conferred with the achievement award during the SCDCC Bank general meeting held on Saturday.

The society’s president, Louis Lobo, and chief executive officer, Sandeep Fernandes, received the award from Sahakara Ratna Dr M N Rajendra Kumar.

The society’s vice-president James D’Souza, directors Maxim R D’Souza and Onil D’Souza, SCDCC Bank directors Belapu Deviprasad Shetty, Rajaram Bhat, Bhaskar Kotyan, Dakshina Kannada district deputy registrar of Co-operative Societies H N Ramesh, Udupi district deputy registrar of Co-operative Societies Lavanya, Udupi district co-operative union president Jayakar Shetty Indrali, and several others were present.

Established in 1997, the Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative Society, as of March 31, has Rs 50 crore in deposits and Rs 42 crore in outstanding loans. It holds a working capital of Rs 52 crore. During the financial year 2024–25, the society recorded a total business of Rs 250 crore, registered a profit of Rs 94 lac, and declared a dividend of  18%.
