Mangaluru, Aug 25: The U-14 Chess team of St Theresa’s School, Bendur, brought laurels to the institution by securing the runners-up trophy at the AICS chess tournament held at St Agnes CBSE School, Mangaluru.

The talented team comprised:

Seona Dipcia Veigas (8A)

Lincia Jocelyn D’Souza (8A)

Sohan Peyton Fernandes (5A)

Rizelle Alida D’Souza (6C)

Anne Rachel D’Souza (6B)

Adding to the glory, Rizelle Alida D’Souza (6C) won the board prize with an outstanding full score of 6 out of 6.
