SDPI submits memorandum seeking action on stray dog menace in Bantwal

Bantwal, Aug 22: A delegation led by SDPI Bantwal constituency president Shahul Hameed S H submitted a memorandum to tahsildar Archana Bhat, urging immediate action to control the menace of stray dogs in Bantwal town and across the taluk and to ensure maximum safety for the public.

The memorandum stated that people across the taluk are being attacked by stray dogs, and continuous complaints are being received from various areas. It also pointed out that school and madrasa-going children as well as senior citizens are living in fear due to the situation, and urgent remedial measures are needed.

The delegation included SDPI Bantwal constituency committee secretary Akbar Ali Ponnodi, vice president Iqbal Ijaan, secretary Kabir Akkarangi, Bantwal municipal committee president Sharif Valavoor, and BC Road city council president Basheer Palla.
