Mysuru, Aug 20: A one-day teachers’ seminar on the theme 'De-stressing education: making academics stress-free for teachers and students alike' will be held on Saturday, August 23, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at the Pushpashrama Institute of Philosophy and Religion, R S Naidu Nagar, Mysuru.
The seminar will address crucial sub-themes including “Stress management for teachers” and “Stress management for students.”


The programme will feature eminent resource persons:
• Dr Lancy D’Souza, professor of psychology, Maharaja’s College, University of Mysore
• Dr Asha P Pathrose, St Joseph’s BEd College
• Dr Hita Claudia Rao, assistant professor of psychology, University of Mysore
According to organisers, around 500 participants are expected to attend. The seminar is open to teachers, lecturers, professors, academicians, parents, as well as formators of seminaries and religious houses.
A certificate of participation will be issued to those registering via WhatsApp at 98806 99068. A nominal fee of Rs 200 (inclusive of tea, snacks, lunch, and certificate) will be collected on the day of the seminar.
