Udupi: Adarsha Hospital celebrates 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour

Udupi, Aug 16: The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur at Adarsha Hospital. The national flag was hoisted by Dr Suraj Hegde, urologist at Adarsha Hospital.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Suraj Hegde emphasized that unity and self-reliance are the foremost duties of every citizen of India. The programme also included the singing of the national anthem and flag song.

The event was graced by Dr G S Chandrashekhar, medical director of Adarsha Hospital, along with the entire medical and non-medical staff. Parents of patients and well-wishers of the hospital also participated in large numbers, making the celebration a grand success.

The programme was compered by the hospital’s senior manager, Diago Quadrous.
