Mumbai, Aug 14: The teaser for the much-anticipated Bengali film 'Raktabeej 2' was unveiled on Thursday, igniting excitement ahead of its festive Pujo 2025 release. The sequel teases a gripping thriller filled with intense drama, action-packed sequences, and a major twist — the unexpected return of Munir Alam, previously presumed dead.

Directed by the acclaimed duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, the film features a powerhouse ensemble cast including Victor Banerjee, Seema Biswas, Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, Koushani Mukherjee, Nusrat Jahan, Kanchan Mullick, Subrata Dutta, and Ankush Hazra.

Reacting to the teaser launch, Abir Chatterjee said:

“With the teaser of Raktabeej 2, Pujo fever has officially begun. The last two Pujo releases with Windows have been unforgettable, and cinema is an essential part of our celebrations. The countdown has started.”

Ankush Hazra, also thrilled to be part of the project, added:

Directors Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee shared that ‘Raktabeej 2’ expands far beyond the scope of the original, offering audiences a richer, more layered narrative.

“This time, the canvas is bigger. From adrenaline-fueled action to deeper emotional journeys, we’ve challenged ourselves at every turn,” they told reporters. “We shot across multiple locations, with meticulous planning behind each thriller element.”

Though the full plot remains tightly under wraps, the teaser reveals a darker, more intense storyline — with Munir’s shocking survival and return at the heart of the suspense.

Set to be a Pujo blockbuster, Raktabeej 2 is already shaping up to be one of the most awaited Bengali films of 2025, promising a cinematic ride filled with surprises, suspense, and spectacle.
