Udupi, Aug 14: Under the leadership of Lions Club Udyavara Sunshine, Aatidonji Dina programme was held at the Town Hall in Udupi with the participation of family members.

Renowned swimmer and active member of Lions Club Ambalpadi, Lion Gangadhar G, participated as the chief guest and spoke about the importance of Aati season.

On the occasion, with the aim of preserving the environment, saplings were distributed to every member of Lions Club Udyavara Sunshine.

Various entertainment competitions were conducted during the event, and prizes were awarded to the winners.

On stage were cabinet member Lion John Fernandes, immediate past president Lion Ronald Rebello, founder president Lion Henry D’Souza, secretary Lion Edwin Lewis, and treasurer Lion Alwyn D’Souza were present.

President Lion Gerald Pereira welcomed the gathering, Lion Umesh proposed the vote of thanks, and Lion Steevan Colaco compered the programme.
