Beijing, Aug 14: The much-anticipated iQOO 15, successor to last year’s iQOO 13, is reportedly set for an October debut in China, with leaks hinting at powerful hardware and gaming-focused features. While the Vivo-owned brand remains tight-lipped on the official date, tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo has revealed that the flagship could be accompanied by either an iQOO 15 Pro or iQOO 15 Ultra variant.

According to the leak, the iQOO 15 will sport a Samsung AMOLED 2K display and is expected to be among the first devices powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-launched Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. Like its predecessor, it may also carry iQOO’s self-developed gaming chip for enhanced performance.

The smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.85-inch AMOLED display, a massive 7,000mAh battery, and 100W wired fast charging support. On the imaging front, the iQOO 15 could house a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, alongside an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

In addition, the tipster hinted at Realme’s flagship launch in the same month, possibly the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro, rumoured to feature a 200MP telephoto periscope camera.

The current iQOO 13 came equipped with a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, up to 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging — setting the bar high for its successor.
