‘Gadar 2’ celebrates two years with tributes from Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel

Mumbai, Aug 11: The blockbuster film "Gadar 2" is celebrating its second anniversary, with lead actors Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol expressing their gratitude to the audience for the movie's monumental success.

Ameesha Patel, who reprised her role as Sakeena, took to Instagram to thank fans for their "tremendous love and support." She hailed the film as "India's BIGGEST n ONLY ORGANIC BLOCKBUSTER," sharing moments from the movie to mark the occasion.

Sunny Deol, who played the iconic Tara Singh, also posted a heartfelt tribute. He shared a video montage of promotional events and fan interactions, writing that the audience's affection "feels as fresh as ever." Deol noted, "Every tear you shed, every cheer you gave, every #HindustanZindabad you yelled, remains in my heart." He emphasized that Tara Singh is more than just a character; he embodies the audience's feelings, thanking them for embracing the film.

Directed by Anil Sharma, "Gadar 2" is set during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and follows Tara Singh's journey to Pakistan to rescue his son. The film's immense success has fueled anticipation for a third installment. Earlier this year, director Anil Sharma confirmed that "Gadar 3" is in the works, with the script currently being developed. However, further details remain under wraps for now.
