Washington, Aug 10: President Donald Trump announced on Saturday the nomination of State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce as the next US Deputy Representative to the United Nations, with the rank of Ambassador. Trump praised Bruce on Truth Social, calling her a “Great Patriot” and highlighting her distinguished service since January 20 as the State Department spokesperson.

Tammy Bruce, known for her two decades at Fox hosting 'Get Tammy Bruce' on Fox Nation, is also a bestselling author of books critiquing left-wing ideologies and championing personal liberty. Once a liberal activist and former president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women in the 1990s, Bruce later embraced conservative politics and became a vocal critic of progressive feminism.

Born in August 1962, Bruce passed her high school proficiency exam after just two weeks and earned a political science degree from the University of Southern California in 2002.
