Mumbai, Aug 10: Actor R Madhavan recently revealed how he was fooled by a deepfake video showing football icon Cristiano Ronaldo praising cricketer Virat Kohli.
During an interview with Zee TV, Madhavan shared that the video was so convincing he proudly shared it on Instagram, only to be informed by Anushka Sharma that it was an AI-generated fake.
Feeling embarrassed but taking it as a lesson, Madhavan stressed the importance of verifying content before sharing, highlighting the growing challenge posed by sophisticated AI-generated media.
On the work front, Madhavan was last seen in Aap Jaisa Koi and recently appeared in Hisaab Barabar, which premiered at the 55th International Film Festival of India in November 2024.
