Delhi, Aug 9: A tragic incident unfolded Friday night in Delhi’s Karawal Nagar area where a man allegedly killed his wife and their two minor daughters, aged 5 and 7.
Officials suspect long-standing disputes with his 28-year-old wife, Jayshree, may have been the motive, though the exact cause is under investigation. The method of the killings has not been disclosed.
A case has been registered, and forensic teams have gathered evidence from the home. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination at GTB Hospital.
The accused remains at large, and police have launched a manhunt to apprehend him. Neighbours reported that the couple frequently argued.
“We found out about the incident at 6 am. Upon opening the door, we saw the mother and two daughters on the bed. The husband and wife used to fight regularly,” a neighbour said.
