Gurugram, Aug 9: In a shocking case of friendship turning fatal, a 20-year-old youth was murdered by his friends and his body dumped in a school washroom after he repeatedly mocked their slim physique.

The victim, identified as Karn, was found earlier this week in a decomposed state after a school teacher noticed blood stains and followed the trail to the washroom. Police arrested the accused, Akash and Shiv Kumar, three days later.

According to police, the incident occurred on the night of July 2 and 3 when the trio had entered the school premises for reasons still unknown. During the visit, Karn, known for his muscular build, allegedly taunted the duo again over their thin frame. Enraged, one of the accused attacked him with a stone, while the other stabbed him with scissors.

The accused then hid the body in the washroom and fled. Police later recovered both the murder weapons from the spot.

“We received the information on August 4 after a teacher spotted blood stains in the school. The body was in a decomposed condition, making identification difficult initially. Both accused are on remand, and further details will be shared after the investigation,” a police officer said.
