Mumbai, Aug 7: Bollywood’s newest heartthrob Ahaan Panday, who recently made a striking debut with Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, has penned an emotional note on social media, dedicating the success of the film to his late grandmother, Snehlata Panday.

Taking to Instagram nearly three weeks after the film’s release, the 27-year-old actor broke his silence on the overwhelming response Saiyaara has received from both fans and critics. The film, which also stars Aneet Padda, has been a commercial success, crossing the ?300-crore mark at the box office since its July 18 release.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Ahaan shared:

“Kabhi yeh nahi socha tha mujhe itna pyaar milega, dadi mujhe hamesha raj bulati thi, kaash woh aaj Krish ko dekh paati,” referring to his character in the film. He reminisced how his grandmother always called him her "prince" and wished she could witness his moment of glory on the silver screen.

He further added, “Bhagwan ko hamesha yeh kehta tha ki agar duniya mujhe pasand na bhi kare, mujhe pata tha, sitaaron mein sitara, ek tanha tara – dadi meri – wahan se dekh kar mujhe muskuraengi. Ye sirf aapke liye hai dadi.”

In a touching message to his fans, Ahaan wrote, “I don't know what lies ahead for me, but I know that in this moment I feel the love in my bones… I promise to work twice as hard, be twice as good… for the child in me, the child who had two left feet, who got jitters on stage, who was always told he couldn’t do it.”

The debutant concluded with a message of hope and inspiration, urging his followers to cherish the child within:

“I hope you all keep making that child happy, because that child in you deserves it all. Thank you for this miracle. I wish I could hug every single one of you. Tere bina to kuch naa rahenge.”

With Saiyaara turning out to be a major milestone in his career, Ahaan Panday has officially announced his arrival in Bollywood – not just as a star kid, but as a performer in his own right.
