Karnataka assembly delegation visits Stanford University, explores innovations in medical tech

Mangaluru, Aug 3: A delegation from the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, led by Speaker U T Khader, along with Manjunath Bhandary, P M Ashok Pattan, Dinesh Gooli Gowda, Srinivas Mane, Gururaj Ganttehole, Suresh Babu, Ashok Rai, and Gurme Suresh Shetty, visited Stanford University in California, USA.

As part of their visit, the delegation toured the Biodesign Lab, headed by Dr Anurag Mairal, adjunct professor at the Stanford School of Medicine and director of Global Outreach at the Stanford Byers Center for Bio Design. Dr Mairal also plays a key leadership role at the center for innovation in global health. The visit was an eye-opening experience for the legislators, providing valuable insights into pioneering research and advancements in healthcare and medical technology.



This impactful visit was coordinated by Manjunath Bhandary, with the support of JP, a prominent entrepreneur and businessman.
