New Interact Club installed at Christ King High School, Karkala

Karkala, Jul 23: The installation ceremony of the newly formed Interact Club at Christ King English Medium High School, Karkala, was held at the school auditorium.

Presiding over the event, Karkala Rotary Club president Rtn Naveenchandra Shetty said, “Even small acts of service can bring about big changes. Students must contribute to the welfare of society, and participating in platforms like the Interact Club is a great way to begin.”

Rtn Balakrishna Devadiga, president of Interact Club, Karkala, shared insights into the club’s foundation, its various segments, and the functioning of the organization.
 





Speaking on the occasion, Rtn Iqbal Ahmad stated, “The Interact Club is a wonderful platform that nurtures leadership qualities, service-mindedness, and social responsibility among students. It helps them develop creativity, teamwork, and empathy towards society, ultimately shaping them into responsible citizens.”

The school’s headmistress,  Josna Snehalatha, extended her best wishes to the newly inducted Interact Club members.

Also present on the dais were Rtn Chetan Kumar, secretary of the Rotary Club,  Shailee Hegde, the school’s Interact Club coordinator, and members of the Karkala Rotary Club.

Zubeda, a Class 10 student and newly elected president of the school’s Interact Club, presented the club’s action plan for the year. The Club secretary, Lakshanya, delivered the welcome speech, while Vishoan Shelton Saldanha proposed a vote of thanks. The event was compered by teacher Sushmitha.
