Mangaluru, Jul 21: Amid complaints surrounding alleged serial murders and unnatural deaths in the Dharmasthala police station limits, the state government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to carry out a detailed probe, said Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader.

Addressing a press conference in Mangaluru, Khader stated that only after the SIT investigation will the truth be revealed. “Further action will be taken as per the law. Until then, people must refrain from making prejudiced statements and instead practice self-reflection. It is important that the public remain patient during the course of the investigation,” he said.

Khader also emphasized that since the case has been handed over to the SIT, it is essential to avoid any remarks that could affect the sanctity of the religious place. He added, “In my opinion, everyone should cooperate with the SIT to ensure a fair and thorough investigation.”
