Mangaluru, July 20: The department of BCom at Srinivas University successfully conducted the ACCA induction programme on July 19 to orient and enlighten students about the globally recognised ACCA qualification and its relevance in today’s financial and accounting world. The event commenced with a warm welcome to all dignitaries, faculty members, and students.
It was an informative and motivational session that aimed to guide students through the journey they are about to embark upon in association with ACCA and MyLogic.
Dr Venkatesh Amin, dean of the Institute of Management and Commerce (IMC), delivered the presidential remarks, setting a positive and encouraging tone for the programme. He highlighted the university’s commitment to offering globally benchmarked programmes and emphasised the importance of professional qualifications like ACCA in building successful careers in finance and accounting.
Following this, Kaustubh Puthran, University Wing Head at MyLogic, delivered an energetic and motivational speech. He inspired students to make the most of the opportunities provided and urged them to remain consistent, focused, and curious throughout their ACCA journey.





The key highlight of the programme was the address by Vinod Chandran, CEO of MyLogic, a premier EdTech platform known for delivering leading finance professional programmes across the globe.
Chandran gave an in-depth talk on the ACCA course structure, exam pattern, study approach, and career pathways available post-qualification. His talk provided valuable insights into how ACCA equips students with globally relevant skills and opens doors to international career opportunities. The session concluded with a Q&A interaction, where students clarified their doubts and gained better clarity on the ACCA curriculum and expectations.
Overall, the induction programme was a great success. It not only created awareness but also instilled confidence and excitement among students to pursue the ACCA qualification with dedication and enthusiasm.
