Kundapur, Jul 19: Vidya Academy, under the aegis of IMJ Institutions, organized a meaningful parents’ orientation programme for the new academic year. The event aimed to build a strong connection between the school and the parents while offering them valuable insights into modern parenting.

The highlight of the event was the special address by Girish M N, consulting psychiatrist who delivered an enlightening talk on child psychology and upbringing. He shed light on common challenges faced by children today, such as lack of self-confidence, stress, and digital addiction. His practical and psychologically sound suggestions on how parents can understand, communicate with, and support their children were deeply appreciated by the audience.

The brand building director of IMJ Institutions, Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, also spoke on the occasion. He emphasized that such sessions are the need of the hour for today’s parents and reiterated the institution’s commitment to holistic education. He stated that Vidya Academy will continue to uphold its legacy of delivering quality education.

The school administrator, Pavana Mahesh, briefed the parents on the school's discipline policy, daily activities, and general guidelines.
